The logs in the gables were put in place, some more rafter work was done and the porch floor was built.

March 13, 1999
The porch was completed, front dormers framed and they began decking the roof with tounge-and-groove 1x6's (the first of many layers of roofing - T&G, 15# felt, 2 layers of 1.5" thick foam insulation, 1x6 vertical strips, OSB decking, 30# felt, then shingles).

March 20, 1999
Most of the roof has all layers up to the felt and the dormers have the log siding on their sides.

March 28, 1999
The log crew finished up late Saturday evening (3/27) by putting in the doors and windows as the finishing touch.
