May 1, 1999
The majority of the carport was built this week as well as some more framing in the master bath that had to be redesigned to make room for the second floor air handler for the second heat pump. Finished another wall with tounge & groove pine.
May 8, 1999
The carport was completed and roofed and the final touches to the interior framing was completed. I stained the interior of the dormer above the living room and started on the rest of the ceiling. I also had to take a break and do some cleanup since things were really starting to look shabby again.

May 15, 1999
Took a well needed vacation this week to go back to Pennsylvania to visit family and attend a wedding. The plumber did some work, but not much else happened.

Have my name on a list for sheetrock (drywall). There's a supposed shortage of it, and as far as me getting some, its true because I can't find any. In the mean time, I'm working on getting the electrical and plumbing finished - atleast inside the walls so when I do get some sheetrock, I'll be ready.

I GOT MY SHEETROCK!!!! YEAH!!! Hope to get it up over the next week. The electrical and plumbing work is about ready for it. The second floor heating & air was installed. I stained parts of the ceiling where my walk boards had to go through walls. Had to do it this way since the sheetrock will cover the places where my walk boards can fit through the open stud walls.
