July 3, 1999
The cabinets were installed this week and I got more staining done (seems like a never-ending job. More stone work done. The chimney was completed - looks really good.

July 10, 1999
The cabinet tops were put on and I finished the ceiling staining in the kitchen. Hung the rest of the kitchen lights.

Did more interior staining and some outside cleanup.
July 24, 1999
This was a big week. I took vacation this week and spent about 12 hours a day working on the house. With help, we finished all of the interior staining except for the loft which can be done later after we move in. All the sheetrock walls were primed and painted. The idea was to get all of the messy stuff out of the way before all of the flooring goes down the next week. The air conditioning was fired up for the first time on Thursday just as it was getting real hot.
July 31, 1999
The flooring was put down this week as well as electrical finishing touches such as wall plates and wiring up the cable and phone jacks. Move in date is set for next Saturday!!.
